Mar 1, 2021 · Not that the Promaster is horrible. But the Promaster drives more like an old truck. The Transit is much more of a minivan or SUV feel to me. - The seats of the transit win hands down. The base Promaster seats are downright bad. The top trim seats of the Promaster are just passable. The seating position sucks in the PM and im only 5'8.

Looking at the promaster forum it looks like some people believe this also caused this or other issues and are resealing the area around the cowl and the hood with some extra material.
