Other than wheelbase they differ in pretty much every possible detail. For starters the PM is front wheel drive whereas the Sprinter was rear wheel drive. Moisture in the engine compartment during the warmer seasons, and ice build up during winter can damage different components. You either need to call tires manufacturer or consult "TRA inflation tables" to determine pressure that right for you. BTW, the fwd Promaster is actually quite good in the snow, far better, in fact, than the competition. The cheaper rim is for the "commercial" trucks for plumbers, carpenters, etc. who don't want to spend extra for fancy rims. If you're in doubt, call the supplier, 1-877-482-4283. The cable goes from the left side of the van to the middle of the van--at the earliest opportunity--and then runs down the middle of the van blocking space when it could have made the jog to the middle right at the back--which would have preserved a lot of useful contiguous space.
